It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to kill boredom. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, as long as it touches someone’s nerve one way or the other

The first DESIGNERS album simply titled: Designers is out today. It was written between 2009 and 2020, recorded in Hollywood, CALIFORNIA, Enjoy

It all started way back in 2008. There had been a void in good rock bands, and so a young George Trend decided he wanted to put together the band he always wanted to see live. Finally something to identify with, rather than feel sorry for the current state of Rock at that time.

After many trials and errors, local club gigs, rehearsals, line-up changes and the usual hardships of starting a young band from scratch, the first EP arrived in 2012 called B.U.Y or DIE.

Only about 10 copies of it exist and are highly sought after and rare.

Then the move to L.A. happened, in the hopes of starting it all over again, but this time it was to be RIGHT.

It had been an uphill battle finding foothold in a new city and a steady line-up for years, but without ever thinking about giving up, George decided to stick with his vision and lead a band called DESIGNERS, no matter the consequences…

…So here we are in 2020

A rather unpredictable year so far, that’s for sure.

Those first 12 years carry many stories with them, to be published or told in some form in the future.

Presently…

the DESIGNERS is still a active band (always was), with many songs written and/or recorded in some form or another. George Trend being the fundamental element.

At the moment we’re trying our best to independently record and publish our first full lenght LP at our studio, ran by us, in Los Angeles.
